Therapies for Kids has a highly skilled administration team who can assist you with accessing therapy and funding services in the most organised and stress-free way possible.
The team is responsible for booking appointments, taking payments, assisting with funding plans (Medicare and NDIS), facilitating communication between you and your therapist and answering any and every question you may have. The front desk is open 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday and 9.00am - 2.00 pm Saturday to best accommodate your needs.
At Therapies for Kids, we offer families a variety of different payment options. You can claim through your private health fund, or there are various funding plans available through Medicare and specialised funding. Our therapists are registered providers with most of the leading private health care insurers. Allied Health services tend to be an added extras option on your policy and coverage between providers can vary.

How to Claim with Private Health: HiCaps is available for immediate claims. We can provide a receipt for rebates if your provider is not registered with HiCaps. Please contact your health fund to find out whether your policy covers physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech pathology.
Payment for all services is expected on the day services are provided.
Therapies for Kids administration can help you with;

- NDIS – For approved NDIS Participants, Invoice direct to the NDIA or to an Approved 3rd Party Agency. NDIS Participants who are self managed must pay on the day.
NOTE: NDIS Participants who’s NDIS Plan is managed by the NDIA or a 3rd Party Agency will at all times be held responsible for meeting any costs of services provided in the event the NDIA or 3rd Party Agency refuse any claim.
As a courtesy, Therapies for Kids has a process in which two business days prior to your appointment we endeavor to send you an SMS message to remind you of your existing confirmed appointment (or in the absence of a cell phone contact, contact you by your other nominated contact.) We take all care to remind you of your appointment, but the responsibility is yours to attend or to cancel within the cancellation period. We do not accept your non-receipt of the SMS reminder as a valid reason for missing your scheduled appointment.
Cancellation Policy and Missed Appointment Fee
Please note that our Cancellation policy is strictly enforced and Missed Appointment Fees will be vigorously pursued. We have clients on a waiting list and so as much notice as possible will allow others to receive therapy.
Current cancellation policy:
For Monday to Friday appointments: notification by 12 noon of the business day prior to the scheduled appointment
For Saturday appointments: notification by 12 noon TWO business days prior ie Thursday.
If notification of cancellation is received after the prescribed 12 noon deadline, a missed appointment fee of 90% of the consultation fee will be applied. Where a client fails to turn up for an appointment without any notification (either in rooms or out of rooms) the full consultation fee will be applied.
