Allison Edejer- Speech Pathologists

Allison has a passion for helping individuals gain the confidence to communicate in every possible way. She completed her Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) at the University of Sydney and has since worked within schools, preschools and in private practice to deliver evidence-based intervention to both children and adults in the areas of language, speech, voice, fluency and dysphagia. She also has experience working with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual Disability, Specific Learning Disorder, Global Developmental Delay, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) and other diagnoses.

Her experiences have cemented her interest in paediatrics, particularly helping children find the right tools to communicate and have fun in their everyday environments. She has an interest in the use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) such as Proloquo2go and LAMP, and switches to encourage communication in those with complex communication needs. Her other interests include complex speech sound difficulties and developing literacy skills in school-aged children.
