Eliza is a creative and energetic physiotherapist who is driven to help children of all ages and abilities achieve their gross motor goals. She completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at The Australian Catholic University and has worked with both adults and children since completing her degree. With 2 paediatric nurses as parents, Eliza has been exposed to the world of paediatrics form a young age and after hearing a story of a young girl regaining her ability to walk following brain injury whilst visiting the Children’s Hospital, decided it was her calling to become a paediatric physiotherapist.
Eliza has a variety of clinical skills with special interests in early childhood development, Cerebral Palsy and other neurological conditions, Down syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, post surgical rehabilitation, low muscle tone and hypermobility. She has a vibrant presence in the gym and enjoys finding creative and individualised ways for children to practice and develop their gross motor skills and prides herself on her ability to interact with children and make sure therapy is not just effective, but also lots of fun!
