Jane Lee – Occupational Therapist

Jane is the Senior Occupational Therapist on our team.

After graduating from the University of Sydney, Jane worked as an ABA Therapist working with children with Developmental Delay and Autism Spectrum Disorders. Jane has worked as an Occupational Therapist in various paediatric private practices throughout Sydney since 2004 and joined the Therapies for Kids team in August 2012.

Jane has experience working with babies, children and adolescents who have fine and gross motor coordination difficulties, handwriting difficulties, Learning Difficulties, Dyspraxia, Developmental Delay, Intellectual Disabilities (Mild to Profound), Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADD/ADHD), Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Sensory Processing Disorders and many other diagnoses.

Jane works with children and their families to meet their individual needs and goals. Jane also has first-hand experience in dealing with a family member who has an Intellectual Disability. She has interest in improving confidence in children and uses behaviour modification techniques throughout therapy sessions.

Some recent professional development courses that Jane has attended include: Wilbarger’s Therapressure (Brushing) Program, NSW Board of Studies Disability Provisions and Hypermobility in Children.
