Oscar is a passionate and energetic Occupational Therapist who aims to enrich the lives of children of all abilities and their families through the use of interactive and engaging play-based therapy. Oscar has always had a passion for paediatrics with both his parents being paediatric nurses when he was growing up. He continued to follow his interest in paediatrics when he started with Therapies for Kids as a therapy assistant and has continued as part of the TFK family since graduating from the Australian Catholic University with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy.
During his studies and paediatric placements in regional Western Australia and the Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Oscar developed a passion for Key Word Sign and working with children with neurological conditions. Oscar has also worked with children with a wide range of diagnoses during his time as a therapy assistant at Therapies for Kids.
