Clare Hoogers – Physiotherapist

Clare is our enthusiastic country physiotherapist originating from Narrandera, NSW (near Wagga Wagga). She completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Charles Sturt University in Orange and has worked with a diverse range of adults and children since. Clare loved growing up in a rural town, however understands the limitations it has with healthcare. She now strives to ensure all children no matter their location have equal opportunity to develop their motor skills and achieve their goals!

Clare loves all things movement and is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to motor skill development. Clare comes from a sporty background, playing state level basketball, netball and athletics from a young age. She now enjoys coaching a representative basketball team and playing local team sports. She has a unique way of finding ways to incorporate effective exercises into a game or activity…to the point where children forget they are even doing therapy! She has a calming presence and prides herself on her ability to gain immediate trust with her kids.

Clare loves being a physio! She believes it is the most rewarding career ever – from helping a child walk for the first time to teaching a child to jump, she couldn’t ask for a better job! But her favourite part is seeing a child’s smiling face when they achieve a skill they never thought would be possible!! Clare delivers paediatric physiotherapy in our satellite clinic in the Riverina and is proud to deliver TFK therapy to the community she loves the most.
